Llevo años escuchando la música de Miel San Marcos, así que, cuando vi este libro, supe que tenía que leerlo. Aunque conocía su música, no sabía nada sobre su historia, ¡y vaya! ¡Qué historia es!
La historia comienza con el relato del padre y de ahí sigue hacia los inicios del ministerio. En más de una ocasión, estuve a punto de romper en llanto. También me vi recordado, una y otra vez, de la grandeza de Dios. Nada es imposible para Él. Él puede tomar algo roto y hacerlo nuevo, algo que se manifiesta repetidamente a lo largo de la historia. Este es el testimonio de Miel San Marcos y de cómo Dios los ha sostenido hasta llevarlos al lugar donde se encuentran hoy. Recomiendo encarecidamente que lean su historia y escuchen sus canciones; son un mensaje claro del Dios poderoso, compasivo y amoroso al que servimos.
I have listened to the music of Miel San Marcos for years, so when I saw this book, I knew I had to read it. Although I knew of their music, I didn't know their backstory, and wow! What a story it is!
The story begins with the father's story and progresses from there to how the ministry began. I found myself almost in tears more than once. I also found myself reminded time and time again of the awesomeness of God. Nothing is impossible for Him. He can take something broken and make it new, which is shown time and time again in the story. This is the testimony of Miel San Marcos and how God has carried them through to where they are now. I highly recommend that you read their story and listen to their songs. They are a clear message of what a powerful, caring, and loving God we serve.
