My Thoughts: An Awesome Sit on the Edge of Your Seat Page Turner
Bones on the Mountain captivated me right from the start and kept me glued in suspense all the way to the end. Every time I thought I had things figured out, I’d end up saying, “Wow! I so did not expect that!” I was continually holding my breath in anticipation of what would happen next.
Samantha (Sam) and Henry’s story also kept me guessing. The fact that they had known each other for so long added much to their story and relationship which in turn gave me a deeper connection to each of them. I felt for Sam and what she had been through. I understood why she felt as she did, and my heart went out to her. However, she also frustrated me with her refusal to take off her blinders to see and accept what was right in front of her nose. Henry had also been through a lot, and my heart went out to him as well. However, his sincerity, determination and perseverance completely captured my heart in such a way that had me cheering him on. As I followed Sam and Henry’s journey, I once again found myself holding my breath in anticipation of what would happen next.
Ms. Steele flawlessly blended together elements of suspense, romance and faith into an awesome, sit on the edge of your seat page turner. It kept me intrigued and engaged right up to the very last page. I highly recommend Bones on the Mountain and definitely hope you check it out for yourself.
